Good Morning,
We closed out the 2022 calendar year with a couple of events held in the clubhouse. There was a nice group of people in to play the golf simulator on Friday and attend a retirement party. It was a great crowd and nice to see everyone having a good time.
I have continued to work on the off season equipment program completing small repairs as well as continuing to sharpen reels and bedknives. I had hoped to finish the sharpening process before the end of the year but I still have a couple of days left to sharpen.
The 2023/24 budget proposal has been submitted to the finance department. We will have discussions during the month of January before we move into the Capital Improvement Plan.
I’m still having issues with the availability of online credit card payment for the golf course fees. I was hoping the situation would be resolved after closing the 2022 season but there still appears to be a glitch that does not make payments available on the City of Spencer website. I will continue to work on this issue.
